ZOO CREATIVE REBRANDING LAUNCH
Zoo Creative is a multifaceted creative agency located on the Gold Coast, providing diverse services in the design space such as creative signage, digital printing, event activation, graphic design, visual merchandise and brand experiences.

Zoo creative approached me to bring their vision to life in three promotional images that would later be used in their marketing funnel that tells the new and existing audiences that they create bold, distinctive and attention grabbing brand experiences.
Their vision for the images was to integrate their new logo design as 3D models into the Australian infrastructure.

The Process
Pain Point
After sending through a few concept images put together by their team, their main concern was that the final outcome will look too much like a 3D model placed into a photograph and won't convey a sense of realism within the integration.
Another concern was how the 'Squish' of the 3D models would appear in the photographs and whether the 3D models would adequately convey the look and feel of a 'balloon' or a 'pillow'.
Proof of Concept
One of my core values as a designer is to assure my clients the peace of mind that they deserve when undertaking a project with me. Therefore I created a handful of mock-ups as a proof of concept to show that their vision is in good hands.

3D Models and General Placement
Once the project was approved and we settled on a set of 3 images, I began building out the scenes and creating a few sets of model placement variations with a basic general reflective texture as a place holder.
Texture Variation
Once I've showcased a set of requested textures the team at Zoo Creative wanted to move forward with a refined version of the placeholder glossy texture for two of the images and the Latex texture for one.
Final Textures
For the final adjustment, I've refined the scenes by matching the shadow trajectories of the 3D models to the original image.
To further improve the models I experimented with various positions of the environment lighting HDRI and added a second set of HDRIs that will accurately display the location's reflections in the models by extracting the location data from Google Maps.
After this was fine tuned for the final renders, I created three more variations of the requested textures for the client to choose from before completing the project.
